1. I studied about countries. I learned "Spain" and "Tokyo". I'd like to go to Spain because I like spanish music and I want to see "flamenco". And I was surprised Tokyo has 12 million people!!

I watched the video of Arrietty. This is famous Ghibli movie in Japan and I had already watched of course. It is easy to understand because the boy and girl's story. There are video of various revel, so I can study adapting the feeling that time.

I want to speak English fluently. For that goal, I studying conversation and vocaburary in English central.
3. How important is it for you to share your learning with other students? Explain your answer.
I think sharing with my friends is so important for my studying. We can teach the point each other and listening other parson's opinion is connect to spread our thinking.

1.What did you study in English Central this week?(be specific about the content of the videos that you're watching.)
This week, I watched a topic on suitable dress at an oral examination. For me, especially in Japan, an image of an oral examination was going to with wearing suits. On the other hand, I think in America, it's important to wear dress suitable for each company's characteristic. But not wearing so casual a dress at an oral examination is a common point for both countries. This time I could learn only wearing suit isn't always suitable for every oral examination, and also doesn't always ive each company good impression. A content of this topic is important things are to wear dress which isn't too casual like T-shirt, and whether a dress is suitable for each company's characteristic, or not. Also, women on't wear clothes which is east to see chest, navel. Don't put things like a hat, an accessory which is easy to mislead. I,myself think it's important to wear dress with thinking each place in daily life. As colors, dress also gives my feeling an influence, sometimes happy, sometimes seriously. Clothes are related to each feeling. So, from now on, I want to enjoy wearing clothes!
2.What are your English learning goals after this course?
My English goal are whether improve my listening skill even little or not throughout English Central and also catch what someone says in English. To make sure of it, and also be able to improve my listening skill furthermore, I try to watch foreign films, of course in English. So, this summer vacation is a good chance. In addition, If it's possible for me, I also want to have a chance to go to foreign country for a trip. At there, I want to try to talk with fireugn people in English! This is a dream for me!
3.How impotant is it for you to share your learning with other students?Explain your answer.(Throughout the week try to respond to another person's response to this question.)
Sharing each learning is important for me, for sharing is related each growth, too. At the same time, I can have a joy of knowing what I didn't know. TO live, it's good source to have knowledges. So, I want to let me teach various things.

I leaned english with the video, the name of "set your phrases". This vide made by a japanese man whoes name is Sita is usefull for me to know the foreign culture or words. He tell us the lots of english phrases in order to we become a fluent english speaker.
2. What are your English learning goals after this course?
After this course, I want to keep studyig english at these sites and I try to get a high score on TEFL.
3. How important is it for you to share your learning with other students?
It is neccesary for me to get closer with them. Of course, to read and consider their opinion is so important for my skill. However, to know them lead me to relation to them.

I watched Ken's story in Toy Story 3. I've watched this movie recently. He asked a reporter how feeling as girl's toy and he angry. It's so funney video so I want to watch again. And I studied word quiz. I got a high score so my motivation is up.
2. What are your English learning goals after this course?
My goal is speaking fruently because my speaking skill is poor. So
I'll practice speaking skill by useing English Central. And I hope to communicate with foreign countries people in English.

I placed great importance on studying vocabulary. I learned 50 words on Monday. I could master these words on that day, but I thought I may forget it when it passes the time. In addition to, I watched video about Japanese cool culture. There are a lot of neon lights in Tokyo. Japanese people (including me) doesn’t think deeply about this, but video said it is fantastic for foreign people and foreign people said this is Japanese cool culture. I was surprised and I felt this topic is very interesting.
2. What are your English leaning goals after this course?
I could get a listening ability in this class, because I watched a lot of English videos by using English Central. However I want to get highly English speaking ability by my graduation. I could tell to other people what I want to say, but I can’t communicate with other people smoothly in English. Therefore I’d like communicate with native speakers after this class, so speaking English fluency is my goal.
3. How important is it for you to share your learning with other students?
I think if we share our leaning style, friends will point out the mistakes. Leaning from mistakes is important not to repeat same mistakes. However I think it is difficult to find my mistake, because we might the mistake become a habit. That’s why it is important for us to instruct our friend’s mistake. I thought if we find our mistake from our writing or speaking, we can make progress.

ReplyDeleteI watched the video about the soccer player Park Ji Sung. He is so good player.He has the sprit of self-advancement. I like him, he moved to Queens Park Ragers from Manchester United Football Club.
I hope that he play an active part in the new team. I also studied about words this week. I could learn some new words and words using at the society today. It is so useful for me.

I want to skill up the listening sense. I could not hear the conversations speaking of the native speaker. I want to hear the fast conversation. This week, I watched Tokyo:cool of city.I was able to know about the wonderful point of Tokyo.It is important that it is by foreign eyes. And I can follow VTR at quick speed. But I had a word which cannot be caught. I wants to improve listening comprehension capability more.

ReplyDelete1, I watched many videos this week. I like to watch many videos because English Central’s videos are very interesting and substantial videos. Today, I watched Obama series. I think that Obama series are difficult to understand for me. Obama always talking about political problems, so I can’t understand all of his speech. I tried to listen difficult speech because I always listening easy and interesting videos. I think that English Central’s videos are very excellent site. I will continue use it!
2, I think that I will use English Central because it is very useful way to study English and make up for our weak points. We always using computer at school or at home, so English Central is nice way to our study tool. I think my weak point is listening point, so I try to listen many videos.
I hope that my weak point will improve!!
3, I think we should know each studying level and supplement each weak point. I think it is good way to study about teach each other. I think that our English level will improve more and more.

ReplyDelete1, This week I specially effort to watch videos. English Central was changed a little and we must type words in the blank of video’s sentences. So I watched the same videos again and again. I watched Disney’s some videos. They seem to be cheeky but their English are familiar with us, and I was easy to understand them.
2, My goal of English is being able to English as Japanese. I’ll go to Australia this summer as a short term studying abroad. In this opportunity, I want to speaking and listening ability. And in intensive course, I learn writing, reading, vocabulary, speaking, and listening skills. Now the several companies need us English skill to work. So I want to have high level’s English skill as I possible and I want to English much!

The most interesting video was about interview for working. In that video, the facilitator taught me a few important things to do interview. I learned it was so terrible to say "I have no question" at the end of the interview!

ReplyDelete1. I watched the CM about sketchers. Sketchers is a company that made shoes. In this CM, many dogs compete on the speed of run like horse racing. One of them wear shoes and he come in a slamming 1st place. This is high-impact CM. I will never forget this CM!
2. My goal is to be talk with native people smoothly. Now I can talk with native person, but very awkward. If I can't hear what he speak, I feel sad and lost my confidence. I want to be fluent speaker, and I want to enjoy talking with native speaker someday!

ReplyDelete1. This week, I watched "The Things That Dads Can't". It is Father's Day's video. The video said that there are a lot of things that dads can't, and it was heart warming story. Tears gushed from my eyes!
2. I think my English learning goals are vocabulary skill and writing ability. I have as a limited vocabulary as ever, but I'm going to acquire vocabulary skill. I want to achieve it! I'll try! On the other hand, this course's blog was useful for me. I think I could practice writing sentences.

ReplyDelete1.I watched a video which J.K.Rowling tallks about how failur helped her become strong-willed and disciplined. I'm ashamed to say that I didn't know she wrote "Harry Potter Series" till now. By chance, I could know that. She told me that You will truly know yourself or the strength of your relationships when both are tested by adversity.
2.My goal is to be able to learn The English-speaking world' affairs in English, because I have a thought that's more correct than to learn them in Japanese.
3.It's quite important to study my classmate for me and may be my classmate. The English intensive course which is harder than other class enables students to close friendship. A friend's existence inspires me to attend a class and do homework.
I'm extremely thankful to my classmate.
1.I studied about how good to live in Niagara, Canada. I think Canada is good country to live, since cities are beautiful, and huge. The video said we are able to live Niagara in better price. I've been to Niagara, and I felt the city was clean, there are no trash. I like it.

Do you think tomato are a fruit or vegetable? Actually tomatoes are a fruit. Tomatoes are similar to berries. Tomatoes and strawberries are actually in the same family.

I watched many videos. In particular, "Patric Harian gets know the War Cameraman of the year's thoughts on conflict and his dream job". I impressed Yoichi Watanabe's thoughts and dream. When I watched him on TV, he spoke slowly. His slowly speaking was very interesting. But I misunderstood him by watching this video. He said his really dream is a school photographer. If war ended, he could come to be a school photographer. And he feeled awful in a battlefield, he loved the corps and war people. I respect him!!

I want to speak English fluently and upgrade listening skill. By using English Central, I noticed that my pronunciation skill is so bad. I study hard English Central and I want to speak fluently and upgrade listening skill.

I watched the video of Jane Lynch's speech at Smith College.Jane Lynch is actress. She is known as a strict teacher of Glee. Glee is popular TV drama in US. I love Glee,too! It is very interesting! It is liked by men and women of all ages in US.In this video, Jane Lynch gives students a message at graduation ceremony. She speaks for them with a little joke. She says "Take a Breath". I think she wants to say "Enjoy your life". Her words are strong and encourage me.This video is my favorite!

My goal is talking with native speaker smoothly. I learn English but I can't talk well in English. To be a good speaker, I have to practice speaking in English. I will try to study hard!

⇒ I watched the movie of how to make a chocolate cup-cake. This takes about only 5 minutes!! The things of preparation are one mug, and one microwave. First, ingredients ; four table spoons of flour, four tablespoons of sugar, one heaping tablespoon of cocoa, three tablespoons of milk, three tablespoons of oil, two tablespoons of whisked egg and splash of vanilla mix it all up in the mug. And put chocolate chips in the mug. Then, It’s ready for the microwave for five minutes. It’s completion!! It looks so easy and sooooo sweet!!!
2.What are your English learning goals after this course?
⇒ My English learning goals after this course is that I can speak frequently and communicate with many kinds of foreigners. In addition, I would like to be able to get high scores with TOEIC and TOEFL. So, I want to learn English more and more, and put knowledge I have learned in this class to my study from now on, too.
3. How important is it for you to share your learning with other students? Explain your answer.
⇒ Learning with other students is important, I think. It is because that sharing our opinions leads to broaden our any sights. 1 This week I watched some VOA news. It was interesting. And easy to hear! Especially, I watched about nuclear news, and demo. These news are very good, because we can learn not only English but also some social issues.
2 I don't decide a goal yet. Because, I like music, piano. I don't no why I am studying English. But, now I am doing will be good for my future. I can only believe. Anyway, I would like to study piano the most.
3 To share our English ability with other person is so important. If we do that, we can see our English ability clearly. So this class had a good time. I would like to do that.

Children obesity has tripled in the United States. Today, one in three children in America is overweight or obese. So she gives a sports event. The problem of children's obesity is serious. so this campaign is good idea.

My goal is get a target score of TOEFL. and I want to speak smoothly.after this course, I study English using English Central, I want to improve my skill.

ReplyDeleteI watched a video that children said what love is. I like children, so I'm happy to watch it. I think Children's answer were always pure. I learned what love for them is.

I always got good informations from other students. For example, I knew what video is interesting from their blog, and I watched video recommended by them. So this blog is important for me to share informations.
