1. This week I specially effort to speaking parts. I practiced using children’s stories because their words are easy so it is easy to speak fluently. I am weak for speaking English, but today I could speak English very much.
2. Reply to at least three different posts that students wrote about studying vocabulary in the blog Task for June 25, 2012.
I picked up Risa and Megumi and Mao. Their blogs are longer than me. And their blogs include their idea obviously. I care about the brief sentences every time. But their blog aren’t like me. It’s flesh for me.
3. In this class, I think that I didn’t learn the new ability of English. But by this class I could keep my ability. And for English Central I could speak English not being ashamed. So this class was important for me.

Delete1, I learned in English Central this week, I realized my weakness point of pronunciation. I try to read long sentences. I want to read long sentences smoothly. I learned vocabulary section too. My vocabulary level is not high level now. I want to speak English smoothly, so I think that I have to remember more vocabulary.
ReplyDeleteI think that English Central is very useful for me because I like to study various English videos. I learned “RUN”, I think that “RUN” means running street, run next to station etc. I understood that “RUN” is another meaning.
2, I comment three different posts that students wrote about studying vocabulary in the blog.
I think that Naomi, Mariko and Ayumi are enjoying to study English Central because they felt that it is very interesting that is why there are various animation. It is very important to listen some videos because my listening skills will be improved!!
3, I think that Language Development is good study tool for us. The most good site is English Central because it is useful for me because it has effective practice questions and free to use every time. I think that I can enjoy studying English and long lasting my studying English. English Central is improvement of my speaking and hearing skill.

This time, I watched a topic'Grouing up'.Though a content of this topic is serious little, a picture of this topic is pop,very cute! So, I could learn about on importance of growng up and enjoy watching by this video. The content of this topic is that everyone has a fear of growing up, however, we must not remain what each other is forever. We need to grow up and experience various things. By experience things even painful thing, we can grow up little by little. For example, we can understand other's feeling and compile it. I,myself, I've been afraid of growing up and felt scary on growing up. To be sure,growing up also seems to part from what I am. So,I may feel sad little. But by watching this video, I think having a day is maybe growing up. I can know what I've not known, and also knowing what various people think or talking to simeone is also related to growing up.It's good to have pioneer mind!
3. This class is called'L.D.'. Please explain which skills, tools, or techniques have helped you most to develop your ability to use English.
Though every tool is useful for me,and also my English skill isn't still perfect very much, especially English Central gives me a opportunity to enjoy studying English. I always enjoy studying with it. in Englsh Central, I can learn, find not only new words, but also various things except English, and also do listening,speaking. It's wonderful and useful for me!

This time, I watched videos about LADY GAGA, Miranda Kerr and Tom Cruise. I love these people so these videos are very interesting for me. I thought that Speaking of all videos are deifficult. I can't pronounce correct pronunciation so I try again and again. I studyed vocabulary with vocabulary quiz. But this quiz isn't response halfway. So I start over. It was problem. English Central's videos are many interesting content. So I can enjoy of study.
3. This class is called "Language Development": Please explain which skills, tools, or techniques have helped you most to develop your ability to use English.
I think English Central is the most helpful tool for me. English Central can watching videos and speaking and learning vocabulary. It is very useful. And English Central's video are many interesting content so I can enjoy use English Central.

I'm watching a video about Queen Elizabeth 2. It about her long life since she was child. But I spoke, it was so long and difficult!! Because there are unknowing words, I had to spent much time and my score was bad. I will try again!

My goal is to speak English fluently when I go to abroad. Because I like trip, I want to go to many country and many place. That is why, speaking skill is most important for me. But it is not all. Listening, reading, and writing also important. English central is grow up my pronunciation and listening skill, and blog is reading and writing skill. I think all tools have helpd me to use English.

ReplyDeleteI watched "Tales from the kitchen;NIKE FREE". It tells me "How to make the shoes".I have a lot of shoesof NIKe. So I am interested in this movie.I can make original shoes. SO I want to make my orizinal shoes.

"Language Development" is very good class. I think that EnglishCentral is most important tool of this class. I can improve my pronunciationskills amd enrich vocabulary.And I watche various video. I can improve my listening skill.

ReplyDelete1. I watched “How to Avoid Saying “Ums” and “Ahs”. When I talk, I often use these words. But according to this video, we can break this habit. A good way to cure ourselves from saying “Ums” and “Ahs” is that once we say a sentence, we pause, closing our mouth, then go on to the next one. To take a pause is very important in speech. When I make a speech or a presentation, I will try to take pauses.
3. Every skills, tools and techniques are very important to use English. Among them, for me, the most important is speaking skill. When I try to speak something to say in English, I always get lost for words. But instead of giving up, I will try to speak using English actively. I Finally, I want to speak smoothly and enjoy talking.
Shiori, I think you should only worry about "ums" and "ahs" only if you use them at all. To tell you the truth Japanese students don't really use these fillers at all. Using those fillers is good for us to use (but not too much) because it allows us to think about what we want to say next without losing our speaking turn. It also tells your listener that you're thinking of what to say next and that you need just a short time to think.

ReplyDelete1. I watched video,"being over weight is Now illigal in Japan. I often hear "Metabo" in dairy life. Japanese government decied a rule about limit of over weight and waist size, recently. Therefore many companies worried about employee's health and made a rule about waist sise. This video picked up NEC. This company put into effect a medical examination. I think it is important to worry about our health, because good health relate to everything. If we have a good health, we can work without problem and enjoy our life. That's why I thought such a rule which Japanese government decied is need for Japanese people.
2. I replied Risa Tsurukawa, Mako Mori, Megumi Tahara.
3. I think "Language Development" means imploving all English skills. For example, speaking and listening, writing, vocaburaly,etc. English Central is good tool for improve our English skills. Moreover we also can compete my friends, so we can get to highly motivate. I want to most improve my speaking skills. English central have a lot of English videos and can check our pronunciation, so I improved speaking skills while enjoying. I'd like to use English Central.

ReplyDelete1. I watched propaganda videos.Adidas was particularly striking image. Adidas is making clothes for athletes of London Olympic.Desiners make clothes to suit a person a person. I amazing that athletes' clothes are desined by gatering data.And I want them active in the Olympic.

ReplyDeleteI learned about the women rights from this video "A women rights is human rights" . This speech was proposed by Hillary Rodham Clinton. She is one of famouse politician in U.S. It told me the women rights should be for every women. To tell the truth, I had never seen her speech until this week. However, when I saw this speech, I was so impressed by it. I think If there was no her speech, every women would not have rights now.

I think English central and Edomodo test is effective to go up our english skill. It is because we can study Speaking, listening reading and writting at Englsh central. If we work harder, our skill make progress. In addition, I think Edomodo is nice way to exam. Edomodo has a time limit so we have to do quickly and correctlly. That's why I think both tools are amazing!!!

I studied watching movies this week. The most impressive movie was the movie about interview of Lee byung hun. I like him, so it is so interesting for me.
I also watched the movie about correct way to handshake. Japanese don’t have the custom to handshake, so it is beneficial for me. I am poor to make eye contact, but it is important when you handshake someone. I want to care about it.

I could study words that we use present day with the news, movies.
My goal is talk with other country’s people fluently. I like talking, so I want to communicate with many people. English Central is helped me to speaking. My pronunciation is so bad, but I think I change Japanese English pronunciation a little. I want to use it more, and I want to talk with many people to use English.

ReplyDelete1. I watched "How to Understand the Meaning of Lent" this week. I didn't know that the color purple is often used as it is a mourning color to signify Christ's suffering. I don't know Christianity well, but I think that the Bible teaches me some wisdom of life. I can learn Christianity in Ferris, so I became to like the Bible!
3. I think that English Central is useful tool for me! English Central is so fun that I can study English cheerfully. Especially, English Central's good point is thet we can try some vocabulary quiz. They are like some games! I can also learn some spells there. Not only vocabulary but also speaking sistem is interesting! It is difficult, but pleasure is big when I can get high score! I am glad to know English Central!

I watched Snow White, overweight in Japan, many kittens. My favorite video is kittens. In the video, real kittens don't appear. All kittens are pictures. A girl prompts to those kittens. The situation is very cute! I was healed by this video!

I learned about Harry Potter and The Borrower Arrietty. they are my favorite movies. In Harry Potter, this sceane often do CM. I often watched a Harry's line, "Togher!!". This line is very impressive.

I watched and learned about greeting manner. It shows people's emotion how they feel by their voice,face and body lunguage. But its action is too appear so that it is a little strange. However it is good to show their feeling take a place of being not able to tell that.

I watched many videos,and most of them was cooking or comercial.Those were good videos too, but I think I have to watch more useful movies. For example, some speechs that famous people did. So I will watch that kind of movies next time.
3 About language development.
I think english central is the most coolest thing. Because it has so many function. Learning words, video watching, and speaking. We can study english in many methods. Also word test is good. We have to study word for the test, and I think many words were stocked to my head. I like this class!

3, It is difficult questions... But, language skill is the most important to speak English. I think, it was basic. I think, the best way to improve English ability is to use them everyday. If we do that, we can remember when the words can use. Or, we should listen English CD or movies more. I watched videos about London's Olympic. I love sports so watching games is very fun! It is exciting! When I was a junor high school student,I played table tennis. I still like it. My favorite player is Ai Fukuhara. She is a good young player. I'm looking forword to London's Olympic games.

I think we need to practice speaking,writing,listening and reading. English Central is very good tool for practicing pronunciation and listening.It is fun and cool! ⇒ I watched the movie of “ How to make the fake ice cream ” and I enjoyed this movie. The content is that a lady teaches and see us how to make the fake ice cream. First, put candy, marshmallow and small chocolate in a cone. Second, spread cream on the cone. This cream is role of like paste. Third, put a large cupcake on the cream, and spread cream on the cupcake. Next, put small cupcake on the cream and spread cream on the whole to fix the form. At last, sprinkle chocolate chip whole the fake ice cream. It’s finish! It is like real ice cream and I want to eat that, but it’s like soooo sweet!!

⇒ It is so difficult question. However, I think that many English vocabularies are introduced in this class. That helps me most. It is because learning vocabulary is best basic to improve our English skill, so introducing many vocabularies in this class effects me directly. Also, introducing the site of “English Central” is very wonderful. It is because I haven’t known like these sites which can learn speaking skill. Anyway this class helps me to develop my ability to use English.

ReplyDeleteI watched video which is “In the Name of Beauty”. Cosmetics have been used for a long time by the ancient Greeks, the Egyptians, and the Romans. Some of these cosmetics were used to improve appearance. But some people applied dangerous chemical such as lead. Today we know that it’s so harmful to our body, but ancient people didn’t have knowledge about chemical.

English Central is good tools to speaking, reading, and study vocabulary. There are many interesting movies. I think that speaking is difficult to practice, but using this tool, I can study pronunciation and expression and so on. Besides it develop my ability not only speaking but also listening.
1. I watched CM of "iPhone 4S". In this CM, Santa Claus uses iPhone when he visits children's house. When I was child, I thought that Santa Claus has special power, so he could find our house. But now, even a Santa Claus can use iPhone! It was very funny and unique CM.

ReplyDelete1. I watched the video whose title is " how to lose weight two pounds per weeks". I was interested in this video because I am going on a diet. However unfortunately I can't seem to lose weight myself. Oh my got. Summer is coming soon. I can not wear my new swimsuit. Then I found the video. I get some knowledge of a correct diet as well as study English. I would be willing to study watching my interested videos. If I can understand these easy videos, I want to watch the difficult fomal videos as news more and more.
3.I think it is a big thing for me to encounter with English Central. I grew my lisning skill thanks to English Central. Of course I get also word and writing skill. I really appreciate you letting me know this site. I want to use this site after finishing this class.

for their kids.It is about sport ,I think he makes CM much cooler and more fresh. Evryone has the image cool and clean about him.
So that`s why this suport CM gives us so fresh energy.
He is very good at being in the sport CM.
3.I like English Cntral ,because it makes my English pronunciation skill improved. I need to pronunce same phrase many times.
